The editors of the Modern Library have cherished for a long time the desire to offer their patrons a volume that would include the complete poetical works of KEATS AND SHELLEY. It would have been impossible to print the full text of the poems alone—even omitting Mrs. Shelley's all-important notes—in the usual Modern Library format, and anything less seemed thoroughly unsatisfactory.  The new "Giant" format offers an ideal solution to the problem. From time to time, other famous books hitherto available only in two or three expensive volumes, will be published in the same manner.
