This title may have come in two first Edition bindings. The Guide describes a type 6 giant binding, but there's also one that looks like an overgrown type 12 regular series with a blind-stamped ML on the front cover with most of the cover inscribed in a rectangle with two curved corners (style G6a).

Barry Neavill reports that the binding for "Lost Illusions -- the only Giant published in spring 1967 -- appears to be a transitional binding between G6 and G7 that was used only for a single season." [Sun, 30 Jul 2006, ML Mailing List posting]

No one has as yet reported seeing this title in the type 6 binding, but type G6a has been verified.
