Notes on Dostoyevsky's Crime & Punishment

The first printing of the Crime and Punishment jacket has the misprint "DOSTOYEVKSY" (the second and third letters from the name's end reversed) on the front panel and spine of the dust jacket.

At least one print run of the second edition had a blank page 350. One collector reported his copy had the missing page laid in with the note "Missing page 350 in the Modern Library Edition of Crime and Punishment."
