Notes on Douglas' Old Calabria

The ML edition was the first U.S. edition of this title printed from an American typesetting. The original American publisher (Houghton Mifflin) used imported British sheets. It wasn't a very good investment on ML's part, however; Old Calabria was one of its worst-selling titles even though it remained in the series for seven years.
