Notes on Dumas' The Three Musketeers There were two editions on this title. The first had no introdution and no translator noted. The second (1950) had an intro and a listed translator, both duties handled by Jacques Le Clercq. Both editions were marked as First Modern Library Edition. The first of the 1950 edition has a Fall 1949 list on the DJ inverse (Byron, Don Juan, but not James, Washington Square), but a Spring 1950 list at the back of the book (James, Washington Square but not Alcott, Little Women).
