Notes on Latzko's Men in War

Men in War was published in spring 1920 with a 6-page list at the back. The list starts with a publisher's note indicating that the titles include those published "during the Fall of Nineteen Hundred and Nineteen." The highest numbered volume is #88.

Some copies of the first printing have a tipped in slip between the free endpaper and the half title with this statement:

The publisher’s acknowledgment, and that of Andreas Latzko, is herewith offered to Sol Bluhm of New York City. Mr. Bluhm was the first person in the United States to appreciate the importance of "Men in War," and his estimate of it which appeared in The New York Evening Post of January 12, 1918, originally brought the book to the attention of the American public.
